Yes, I, for one, would be grateful for a woodworking class, hopefully including methods of attachment (when to glue, when to screw, kinds of screws, etc, etc.), reinforcement, saw types and when to use, drills, types of wood used in various parts of the piano, finishes, preparation for finishing, etc. Great idea! Many technicians, like myself, have very rudimentary woodworking skills, but would like to become more accomplished in this area. I can think of a couple of possible teachers: Ron Nossaman? Chuck Behm? Ron - Your class was a hit in Grand Rapids. The conference will be within driving distance for you this year. I hope we have the pleasure of having you on the schedule! -- Ryan Sowers, RPT Assistant Director 2011 PTG Institute - Kansas City, MI -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
