So where do you get the paper and cardboard to make your various thickness
of  punchings?

It would be handy sometimes to make your own custom punchings.

 

I purchased a 15 pc set of punches from Garret Wade in the mid 80'2, they do
not carry it now

but is is available elsewhere:
