[pianotech] Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer

Fender/Rhodes: If the piano is use in playing jobs, stability depends on the method of moving it.  Laying it flat, the way it would be played will make it very stable.  If it is not moved, the reason it will go out of tune is because a tine is getting ready to break.

Wurlitzer:  Uses metal reeds that are tuned by the amount of solder on the end of the reed.  Making the reed "lighter" by very slightly shaving a bit of the solder will make it sharp. If you get it too sharp, it is get the soldering iron out and add more solder.  I could go on with a page of do's and don'ts if anyone is interested.
