Way to go Allan! 

Back to upstop rails: 

One time I made an upstop rail out of a rather beefy yardstick that the customer had (beefier that the ones you see these days). I was a long way from home...and didn't want to make a return trip. Yeah, so if you're out there and find a yardstick as an upstop rail (can't remember the brand of piano), I was the goof ball who did it...but I did a nice job.. :-)
