To use a phrase from another recent thread: Don't make their problem, your problem. What if they had a pool and no money to fill it yet they desperately wanted to go swimming? What if you were a car mechanic and their vehicle would not start and needed new wiring and a starter. Tell them to save up for parts or get a 'less' expensive piano. It might be a blow to their ego not to have a Steinway but they must live within their means. Don't waste your time. -- Regards, Jon Page
