Which is what is nice about the bushing cloth along with the center pin - the cloth has some give while the pin gives it some backbone. You can fine tune the diameter of the bushing with the size of center pin used. I'd like to point out that you don't want to make the bushing too tight within the coil because as the coil becomes a wee bit smaller as the spring arms are brought together during the wippen's excursion.
