Sounds to me that they are rusted. We get that here in Hawaii. Unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done. Depending on how old the system is, the whole thing will need to be replaced. Contact Nina at Pianodisc for more advice.  (NinaWNG at earthlink.net)

Hello everyone.
 
I have a client with solenoids that will not budge on their PianoDisc, no matter how hard I pull up on them.
 
I haven’t got a clue what to do with this situation, and the darn thing is off warranty.
 
Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated.
