My 14 year old son wants me to buy one! It looks nice, supposed to be rather quick, and I like the all wheel drive aspect for our NE snowy winters. You say it can hold a grand action nicely? More selling points! I'm looking for a mid-life crisis car that also works for transporting stuffs. The other cars I'm looking at won't hold an action. (68-69 Camaro, newer Miata, or Mini Cooper) Action transport isn't as important these days, but a nice selling point. I want a nimble and quick machine or a muscle car! :>) Thanks Paul From: Mark Purney <mark.purney at mesapiano.com> To: pianotech at ptg.org Date: 11/01/2010 12:30 PM Subject: Re: [pianotech] Yer Wheels Sorry for the late response, but my experience with the Impreza has been great (a 2002 WRX and a 2008 STi 5-door hatch). The reliability is outstanding, and if you get any snow, you'll never want to go back to 2-wheel drive after owning a Subaru. Your 5' bench will fit the recent 5-door models, too. I've got 5'2" clearance with the front seats in a normal position. I'm mainly concerned with cargo space. My 5 y-o Chrysler Poodle Cruiser 32. cuft of cargo area, versus the and 22.5 and 24 respectively for the other two. I'm also within reach of a Subaru Forester at 35.5. I also have a folding work-bench 5' long (a keybed leftover from the Aeolian Factory, and sold by Ford PIano Sup), which would only fit in at the temporary expense of driver's leg room. I'm looking at CY models. I'm actually not looking for other recommendations although I'm sure everyone's delighted with their own car. What I'd like to hear is the experiences of any of youse driving around a Fit or Impreza.
