That's spot on, Mike.  As one who had major back surgery back in January, I can attest to this.  I do have good insurance that I'm generally please with.  My surgery ended up billing my insurance for nearly $120,000.  That's for all the doctors, hospitals, $25 tylenols, etc.  In the end, my insurance company paid out a little less than $64,000.  I paid $1,500.  More power to Susan for doing what Blue Cross does thousands of times a day.
