I've been using a battery operated Black & Decker leaf blower. It has good blowing force and isn't very load. Works great for me. and it's a lot easier to handle than a vacuum & hose.

The Metro Vac 'N’ Blo is good for vacuuming but you only have a short amount of 'blow' time before the case becomes super hot and it's blowing hot air. You need to remove the internal foam disk for blowing, but even so, it gets quite hot.

I think the metro is more powerful, but the Oreck does fine blowing and vacuuming.

I also use the Oreck portable, since you own and use both the Oreck and the Metro is there any difference in the performance of either, or are they equal?

      Thank you,

I've been using the Oreck . I like the plastic housing( won't ding) is lighter and does the job. I still use my Metro in the shop , and car. Should be $165 online.
