[pianotech] Broadwood bridge agraffes

Was that because of Broadwood's generally poor scaling and soundboard design
or because of the bridge agrafe?

These Broadwoods often have the Collen-Broadwood name somewhere on the
piano.  In Wainright's History of Broadwood this period of design is
covered.  All part of Broadwood's attempts to catch up with more modern
technology I suppose.  It has to be said though, that those uprights can
sound as bad  as their grands with agraffes.
