[pianotech] string break at hitch pin

Funny. Last evening I had to replace a string(F7) that had broken at the hitch pin. In this case I detected the presence of rust from some substance that had collected right in the space between the pin and the plate.

The client has birds ( parakeets and cockatiels) that he allows to roam the room where his Mason and Hamlin (rebuilt in 1996) lives.

Go figure.
