Doesn’t matter if it is new or old, if there is no paperwork showing the ivory was harvested properly before the ban, it is illegal to take import it. With the proper paperwork, it can be done. Looks like he was trying to get by on the cheap. I just looked at his web site recently, and he specifically advertised he can properly bring ivory into the country. Oops.
