Floyd,

Thanks! I believe those were the articles I was looking for. Time flies.

Thanks, also to Jon and William. I've got several different options to
consider now.

Hi John,
The articles were a little farther back - October and November 2004 in the
Journal. Fast & Effective Finish Restoration by Perkins and Beasley.
Varnish & Polymerized Tung Oil Overcoat.
I tried it this summer on a badly deteriorated finish. I was pleased. I
think I'll get quite a bit of use out of the process.

I thought I had read an article in the Journal in the last two years about
using some concoction containing turpentine to rejuvinate an old finish. I
have looked through my old issues back through 2007 and could not find the
article. Am I mistaken or have I just overlooked it?

If anyone could give me a brief explanation of such a process or, better
yet, the location of that article, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!
John Voigt, RPT
