Hi,Carlos! Great TIP! Thanx I bet that broken hinge screws or stripped holes happened because the Top Sliding Mechanism is missing or broken . Bench top needs to be secured with a SASH CHAIN,about a foot long,to allow the top to be open PAST 90 degrees,so it can stay open. Hope,I made myself clear. See you in Kansas. isaac B.S.
