>...new sounding board... I've seen this claim before, the top looks new but I suspect it is bleached because the bottom view has the color of the aged wood with many pressure ridges. The bridges look new. Not the best photography for showing off the wood grain. I wouldn't doubt that it was originally black. -- Regards, Jon Page
