Hello to All,
Old 5253 built in 1848 Is a " Scale 19" 7' 7"
" Chickering " FLAT strung Grand piano. It is an 88
note with 22 bass keys and three ( 3 ) working pedals.
This piano now sets in my shop, I own it. The case
is original except the lid prop and is in good condition
considering its age of 178 years,
It is destined for the PTGF Museum that is probability
a year or so away. I intend for it to be playable.
I never thought it would take me over 35 years to find
such a piano. But you can never, never give up.
