So far, I haven't driven it on snow, it was okay on ice-slick roads and gravel. Does just fine plowing through big puddles (Oregon, you know ...), doesn't aquaplane. I bought it Michelin tires designed especially for it once the new-car tires wore out. (They tend to wear out fast, new-car tires.) It seems very stable, and the steering is nice, which tends to be a Toyota trait. You have to use the defrost a lot in rainy weather, or the windshield fogs up.
