I also have a homemade elbow holder that chucks into the drill. Works great. I just took a wooden dowel - probably about 3/4" or so and cut a deep slot into the end so that the elbow can slide into the slot. Then I drilled a hole in the other end and epoxied a tuning pin into it. The tuning pin chucks into the drill. If anyone wants a picture I can take one and post it - that is IF I can find the battery charger for my camera....... :-( Terry Farrell On Sep 25, 2010, at 3:20 AM, David Nereson wrote: > I have a homemade elbow holder that chucks in the drill -- it just > spins the elbow rather than the wire, which may not be "chuckable" > if it's got a button on the top end. > --David Nereson, RPT > > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dale Erwin" <erwinspiano at aol.com> > To: <pianotech at ptg.org> > Sent: Friday, September 24, 2010 8:40 AM > Subject: Re: [pianotech] Melting on plastic elbows > > > We used to chuck the wire in a drill and spin them in > > > > >
