[pianotech] Bechstein model and date

Hello my learned friends,
I have a small upright Bechstein in the workshop and I am curious as
to what model it is.  The only numbers I can find are stamped into the
case - K4944.  Is this the serial number?

Looked in my pierce piano atlas, and there are no serial numbers
beginning with K, and it dates 4944 as 1872.  I dont think this is
right as it is a full iron framed overstrung underdamper.

Can anyone help with this?
