Hi Everyone, I received a call tonight from a lady who had a Kawai grand piano that she as she stated it "inheritted" moved to her home recently. She told me that the notes are all sustaining now. My question is, what did the movers do? and is there something specific to look for? I thought about pulling the action and checking to see if it was pushed back too far into the damper action during the move, but wouldn't the dags prevent that? I did have a problem back in October where a Schuman grand had an odd feeling bass sustain and I had to keep depressing it to get it to freeup.
