I have to see what's in the message somehow. In Thunderbird, the preview 
window (actually the "Message pane") blocks html by default, and shows 
only the plain text until I tell it to show html, which I usually don't. 
I have pianotech posts sent to a dedicated account, which, at least 
currently, gets almost no spam anyway.
