Why is the use of a core wire of .043" on note number 24 be "...unusual"? And, how do you figure it would be "overstressed" with that winding size? I've run the numbers and find that to be well within safe limits. Unless, of course, the string is excessively long. However, the speaking length was not given, so I was merely extrapolating with a known speaking length, of that note. One of us is missing something somewhere.
