Ballistol a no in this camp. Gets too gummy fast.

  Hi Joe, thanks for that. I did also think about Ballistol, which I already have and which is OK for leather.  We shall see!

  If indeed when I examine the leather-clad tails properly, it seems that they are far gone, then I may re-cover them. I hate creaky pedals!

    I developed GJ for that kind of cleanup.
    Dont know if it would be easy to work on your parts.
