I replaced a butt-felt on a Kawai upright piano that had fallen off somewhere and the jack was making noise. The piano was the new carbon fiber (black plastic) type of action. I used some white glue I had in my case and when it got tacky I reassemble it. Worked fine! Played it a hundred times. Day later I get a call-back, the jack is clanking again. Did I use the wrong type of glue for this material? CA perhaps? Phil Ryan Miami Beach
