DIY is second option, or first if you're interested in an educational experience. Depending on how badly the old rails are split, they can make a "just fine" drill guide for the new rails with some masking tape, patience, and simple jigging. A little single malt (the evening before), some thoughtful planning, and a few brief moments of pure terror makes for an interesting day, a successful fix, and a few scars to show off to the other kids.
