[pianotech] disklavier installation referrals

I've heard the same thing that Roger has heard, the Disklavier units are only available with a new (Yamaha) piano attached to it. I suppose that if, for whatever reason, one "came across" a lonely, "un-attached" unit, it COULD be retrofitted, but good luck getting Yamaha to sell you one.

No. I'm talking about *retro-fitting* a disklavier to a Yamaha G2. I know this is done, I just need to find a tech to do it.

Terry,
Yamaha doesn't have installation technicians. All Disklaviers are installed at the factory. Are you referring to Pianodisc?

I'm looking for an authorized Yamaha disklavier installation tech in the Los Angeles area. I would appreciate any referrals you can provide.

Thanks,
