[pianotech] a key cover question

Marshall - I'll take a stab at this one too..

If it is the P22 model, the key cover is two pieces connected by a long hinge.  To find the lever, take the back section of the key cover and tilt it towards the player.  There is a horizontal pin that is the contact point to the piano body.  The key cover has a "Y" type (inverted)piece of metal that rests on this pin.  To keep the Y shaped yoke connected, there is a slide lever, similar to the type in a Wurlitzer school type upright for the music board.  Once you find that lever the key cover just lifts up and off.

Hope this helps.
