I would not be interested in a square grand class. I don't see that many squares, and of the one I see regularly, the owner doesn't want to put any money into it. After all, it plinks, so what else could he want? :)

However, I would be interested in sometime seeing one that was working as originally intended.

All,
I proposed an all day Square Grand Class for the Bellvue Convention, that
would cover all that is needed to know, to, intellgently/skillfully work on
these beasts.Over the years, I've had to re-invent a whole lot of
techniques for square grands, as nothing was written down, as far as I've
been able to find. Because of this, I made the proposal.
"No", was the decision. I suspect that lack of interest was the reason for
the decision. Or, possibly, time constraints. Either way, it won't be
given.
Many techs have spent much time on the phone, with me, discussing the
various techniques needed to tune, rebuild and maintain Square Grands. I am
wondering just how many techs are truly interested in this sort of
information, as I 'm considering putting on my own, one or two day seminar.
Would they come, if offered? That is the question I pose to y'all? Your
response, yea/nay, would be appreciated. (yeah, I know, it's a slow day and
I need amusement or abuse or ???<G>)(I'd put it on the New List, as well,
but I still haven't figured out how to do that.<G>)
Regards,
Joe
