Jer,Funny that this came up today...YESTERDAY, my 82 year old mother in law got a PHONE call, purportedly from her grandson, who was in SPAIN (he wasn't...he was still at work nearby), had an auto accident and needed $2300 right away.  Strangely enough, also Western Union...oh, and he sounded a little funny because of a broken nose...

It's not just for Nigerian generals any more...
