Nice ride! Do some of your conservative customers look at you funny when coming in leathers? I had a Honda Rebel in my early years, but mainly for parking around Univ of Wa studying with Steve Brady. Snuck between two parked cars, and never got a ticket. It was nice, except during the constant Seattle rain! Really fun when dry or...even sunny! I got a similar bag, but smaller for running around the school all day. Now, it's either getting too small, or I'm carrying too much around with me again! Time to clean it out. But, you know...when you need that ONE tool, it's down in the shop! I could get one of those motorized carts from the wheelchair place....I actually may need that some day, so don't laugh!! ;>) Our elevator went on the fritz last summer! Big Bummer! I always left that ONE TOOL downstairs in the shop. I lost 10 lbs, though! I had been using the tool bag from Duluth Trading company and loved it, but it was a little too tall to fit in the trunk of my new service vehicle, 1981 CB900C. I’ve put 4500 miles on it since Sept running service calls. I had it out yesterday and today in 30 degree weather for another 100 miles. Last time I checked, Duluth wasn’t selling the tool bags. Maybe they just do it periodically. This little bag does everything I need it to do, and it is so light. You get a bigger bag and you just load it down with stuff you don’t need 95% of the time. What tools do you need the most when going into a customer's home? You probably need your tuning tools, and some basic regulating tools, plus some glue, Proteck, and paper work. Do you really need a $140 toolcase to carry those basic things? For years I have used a shoulder briefcase bag to carry my basic tools. I used to get one at Office Max, but I recently found just what I wanted at Walmart for about $30.00. It's a Stanley tool "Fat Max" tool bag. It's made of a very sturdy canvass, with pockets on the outside and inside, and is supported by a hard flat base. All my tuning and regulating tools are kept in tool roll from Schaff. I also have a towel, glue, flash light, Protek, a power driver with tips. All of the other tolls, supplies, etc. are kept in tool cases in my car.
