In order for this to be useful, I think we should have a specific location for a number of reasons: 1- easy to access and to direct other techs to in the course of discussion 2- as Michael says, compare sound clip to sound clip easily and quickly (which is useful for comparison given the right circumstances) Thinking out loud, and taking this a step further, since this location's intention would be as an info sharing tool rather than a sales tool (to customers), would it be possible to define the parameters of contributions, such that, as much as possible, we would be comparing apples to apples? Perhaps some audiophile geek would have some ideas on how we could pull this off technically with specified mic placements, recording settings, etc...Not my skill base...?
