The best of both worlds is to schedule a day or two each week to work in the shop and three or four days tuning. I don't do that so much now because I don't do as much shop work as I used to, but that was my routine in St. Louis. It takes away the monotony of shop work and relief of traffic jams.

To all,
To each his own --- Some time ago I dropped off a set of keys to a local keyboard specialist. I said : "This must be nice ! In the shop all day - no traffic hassles etc. "
He said " I was just thinking how nice it must be to get out and around and not be stuck in the same place all day"
