[pianotech] RX key pin sizes?

Ed,

  I have a Kawai action coming in soon from a model GE-1.  It has balance
rail pins at .146/.147, and the front

rail pins are .133.

 

   I had to get some new cauls for the .133's.

 

Bill Spurlock's info. on his cauls indicates that the .133" is identified
with Kawai pianos.

 

That's all I know.

 

Hopefully, Don Mannino will see this conversation and confirm for us the
correct information.

I am in a duh moment, having agreed to rebush a set of keys, out of town,
and I didn't record the pin sizes.  Does anybody happen to know what they
are for a 4 year old RX2 ?? I use the oversized cloth, glued in then treated
with VS profelt.  But I have to know the caul sizes, and I don't yet have a
complete set.  (I haven't ever rebushed a set of Kawai keys...)
