Just to elaborate slightly, a 6:3 octave in the middle of the piano will probably work ok on a larger piano or concert grand that will tolerate more stretch. On a small grand or upright you might find that a narrower octave works better, sometimes even a 2:1 in the middle of a small upright will sound best.
