Thanks, but that was a "joke" and a "generalization". (Will this get me out of hock with you fellows?) I knew White was alive in the early years of spinet production, and I've played on an ASTONISHINGLY good-sounding 1938 Wurly spinet with a HUGE bass ( for such a tiny piano ) that was in excellent condition. (And had the nicely-made treble bridge "apron", and etc..) I meant he was not ( I suspected) alive when the REALLY cheap junk was hitting the markets, starting, in my opinion, in the mid 1960's) With Deep and Sincere Apologies for getting Y'all riled up.......
