Today, after being in Hawaii for a little over 5 years, I entered my 1000 customer in my database. Well, more or less. We have a lot of military here, and since most military families stay here for only 3 years, I've probably lost at least 50 of them during that time. And also, about 2 dozen of those customers are churches and/or schools with multiple pianos. But in any case, I'm very happy with the amount of work I've been able to accumulate here. It's been very rough at times, especially in 2009 and 2010. But things are looking up, and we're happy we moved here. Maybe I can retire in 5 more years.
