The stupid thing is, I /was/ comparing scars last week with a carpenter friend and we had both, more than once, cut the tip off our left index fingers by leaving it hanging off the edge of a straight edge or t-square. Amazing how a knife goes through nail and all so quickly. You'd think once would be enough but apparently that's one of those lessons that fade with time...
