The Astaire movie is "Follow the Fleet" with Randolph Scott, Ginger Rogers and Harriet Hilliard (Ozzie Nelson's band-singer wife, later of "Ozzie and Harriet" fame. ) Fred then proceeds to (!really!) play a superb rendition of "I'm Putting all My Eggs in One Basket", by Irving Berlin, who wrote the whole score.
