Larry, I'm trying the same drying method that I use for full ivory heads...stand on edge on bench, slightly leaning against the wall (or something). When I first heard that ivory pieces could be dried in this manner with no curling, I found it hard to believe. It does work, they dry perfectly flat. Now, with a circle? I'll find out in the morning. I would think doing multiple punchings before emptying might prove challenging. Give it a try Larry and let us know!
