... and while we are on the subject, who out there thinks it is worth 
the effort to consolidate the paper punchings (so you wind up with 
fewer, thicker punchings rather than more thinner ones)? I have been 
doing this (with the aid of a dial pressure gauge) for years, but 
always have all of my methods under review.

It takes me on average 2 hours to level keys on an upright, more on a 
grand
due to the time taken to remove and replace the stack.  Factory workers 
can
probably do this faster.
