How many of you level keys with the stack on, cutting a wedge out of the punching and inserting it from underneath the keyframe? (watch out for the drop screws and the stretcher!). Also, does anyone pre-press their felt and paper punchings? Do you think there is a value to that? Blue for blue punching, pink for pink, etc. Remove level, insert punchings. Sometimes you can also just put punchings on top of the keys while the level is there. That works ok until you get to the lightweights when a breath will blow them away.
