Keith,
	When I've got average-or-above checking anyway, the most I do is lightly
grab them puppies with my trusty slip-joint pliers, just like I do to
lightly grove hammer shanks for glue travel. Only takes a minute, and if
you get the angle right, puts no stress on the system.
