Do Universities Pay Guild Dues?

This is interesting.  I just looked at my job description and found,
"Craftsman member of Piano Technicians Guild required.

Now that we are RPTs instead of Craftsmen they could say the won't pay.
I never thought to ask my department because they were always cronicly
short of money since I took the job.

Oh,Well, water under the bridge and all that stuff.
