FAC Averaging

Avery,

I did average FAC tunings at the Orford Art Center to tune a S & S D and a
Yamaha CF III for two pianos concerts. The two pianos sounded very good and
crisp together. When checking individual tunings on both pianos, the tunings
were very acceptable, not perfect but... I ended up using the same tuning
for all concerts that summer and I never got a single complaint as for the
tuning. Last summer I used RCT and averaged the tunings for the two same
pianos and they were fine too.

  I'd like to know if anyone using a SAT has ever tried averaging the FAC
readings when tuning two pianos together.
