Dear Allan, and List - Harpsichord Clearing House is owned and operated by Glenn Giuttari in Rehoboth, MA. That's midway between Boston and Providence, RI. He offers brokerage services for harpsichords and other historic keyboard instruments through a catalog that's updated every few months. I believe his offerings now exclude pianos and fortepianos. He also has a beautiful rural showroom where there are usually a few dozen instruments available, some new (by a number of builders who use the Clearinghouse as their 'showroom'), some used, some renovated or restored. Glenn is extraordinarily knowledgeable, conscientious, ethical and a most pleasant person. I heartily recommend him to you and your clients. To get the latest catalog with perhaps a couple hundred instruments listed, call him at (800) 252-4304. - Tom McNeil - Vermont Piano Restorations In a message dated 99-04-29 23:03:52 EDT, you write: << Is anyone familiar with a company called "Harpsichord Clearing House"?
