Dear Friends, Tonight at 7:30 pm, Central Standard Time, Friday January 29, 1999, there will be a live broadcast of a classical music concert on the web. Kriszta Kovacs, the Grand Prize winner of the 6th Missouri Southern International Piano Competition will be performing tonight in Webster Hall on the campus of Missouri Southern State College, in Joplin, MO. The concert will be broadcast live on the local classical radio station, 88.7 KXMS. The concert will also be broadcast live tonight at www.kxms.org at 7:30 pm CST. The Steinway D was prepared last week by Kent Swafford, and he did wonderful work! (Kent, thank you very much!) The piano was tuned tonight by myself.
