Is this meant to ask what the acceptable variability in a given piano
might be, or is it asking what is the most and least aftertouch that can be
used on any variety of instruments.
If the former, I try to keep it within that .003" punching's range. If
the latter, I have used between .030 and .070", depending on the piano, the
touch, and the consistancy of the parts.
