Chickering Brass Flanges

Michael,

After writing that last bit, I dug around for a while in what passes for my
junk pile of old parts. I "Marshall-planned" most of my Chickering stuff to
the guy to who took over a museum gig in LA in the early '90s, and only seem
to have a few badly corroded brass whippen flanges left (that would have gone
with a roughly WWI Quarter Grand).

My PTG directory is momentarily someplace out of mind, and I do not remember
the phone number for: Mallory Geller (RPT), who lives on West Adams, LA..
I know that he has done some work on older Chickerings over time, and he might
have a lead.

A good machinist can make the shanks, but might not want to make only a few.

Also, on rereading, my initial response seems more than a bit glib, please
accept my apologies.

Best regards.

Horace
