humidity and unisons

Newton,
	Everywhere (inside, that is), during the summer, when we use them swamp
coolers to try to get cool. Especially during July and August when the
"monsoon" rains come (every so many days it actually rains hard where
you are for a few minutes, but the clouds gather and humidity rises
whether it rains or not). Some people turn on their evaporative coolers
in May and leave them on through September (God, I hate to tune for
them). Manage to get their interior humidity up even into the 80's! The
University has topped 60% now, and will probably hit 70% by the time
classes start. So all the pianos that were really pretty stable from
December through June are utterly miserable/haywire. And my phone starts
ringing off the hook.
