Especially during July and August when the "monsoon" rains come (every so many days it actually rains hard where you are for a few minutes, but the clouds gather and humidity rises whether it rains or not). Some people turn on their evaporative coolers in May and leave them on through September (God, I hate to tune for them). Manage to get their interior humidity up even into the 80's! The University has topped 60% now, and will probably hit 70% by the time classes start. So all the pianos that were really pretty stable from December through June are utterly miserable/haywire. And my phone starts ringing off the hook. Regards, Fred
